A.B.L.E. MEN MINISTRY
“Teach them the Word, Show them the way to walk and the work they must do.
Provide Able Men”.
JOHN 6:10 And Jesus said, “Make the men sit down”. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
The Men’s ministry was birthed out of Pastor Glenn’s spirit after reading a book titled: the Spirit of Leadership, Dr. Bill Winston.
The A.B.L.E. Men’s Ministry of Greater Works Christian Center International has been a developing ministry since Pastor Williams worked for the Chicago Park District, where he coached youth sports. From the beginning, it was clear that the intent of this ministry would be to help foster brotherhood and help to raise up young men who lacked a daily Fatherly presence, teaching the young men to become men through athletics. That idea has grown into a ministry with a heavenly agenda.
PSALM 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The Armour Bearers, Leaders & Elders Ministry for men serves as the training ground for equipping, developing, guiding and encouraging the men of Greater Works Christian Center International, Mentoring them to become the good (God) example of the believers in word, conversation, love, spirit, faith and purity. The ultimate goal of the A.B.L.E. Men is to foster in brotherhood and teach the male youth on how to become providers for there own households, which is their first ministry.
Our Motto: “Always Be Living Examples”
The A.B.L.E. Men’s ministry have three primary objectives:
#1) Teach them the word
#2) Teach them good Christian conduct
#3) Teach them the work they must do
